CONGRATULATIONS to Kirsten Crocker on being selected as a Race Walk Judge Official for the Paris Olympic Games!  There are only two other Australian Athletic Officials selected to officiate at these Games. 

Kirsten has moved up the ranks from officiating at Athletics NSW Championships to Australian Championships, to Oceania Championships, to U20 World Championships in Finland, to Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, to Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast & Birmingham, to Olympic Games Trials in China, to World Athletics Championships in Doha and Oregon.  Her expertise and dedication has now provided her with the opportunity to officiate at the Olympics!

The NSWRWC wishes her the very best for the Olympic Games!

The Racewalking Australia Challenge is a Racewalking Australia club versus club competition. The points from the fastest competitor from each club in each race will be added and the club with the lowest points declared the winner. If a club fails to have a competitor finish in any category, that club will be awarded the same points as the highest scoring competitor. Master athletes will not be scored on their time but their age grading so all Master athletes must submit their age at entry time.
All athletes who are members of the club are automatically entered into the points race for the distance they walk. NO entry fee is required.
 

OLYMPIC GAMES - CONGRATULATIONS to Allanah Pitcher (Marathon Race Walk Mixed Relay) who has been named as a travelling reserve (known as Ap athletes under Olympic Games accreditation) and will be preparing with the team. The travelling reserves can be selected as a replacement athlete onto the Australian Olympic Team in case of injury or other withdrawal of one of the selected athletes.

CONGRATULATIONS to Bridget Bell, Chelsea Roberts & Jack McGinniskin who have been selected in the Australian Team in the Open 10000m Racewalk and to Sienna Pitcher & Myles Ashby for the U/18 5,000m Racewalk at the 2024 Oceania Athletics Championships in Suva, Fiji 4-8 June.
